In a unexpected partnership that defies conventional predictions, the game developer has announced an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Revealed

According to the official release, "A strange meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of forbidden practices and monstrous changes reverberate through the darkness." The storyline presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine sect.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar tests and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
